Yaron Elyasi is an artist and industrial designer who has been running his own studio for about 15 years. He has shown his works in more than 20 exhibits in Israel and abroad (New York, Milan, Berlin, Copenhagen, France, Italy, Canada, Korea and elsewhere). He produces his unique creations with the free molding technology he developed for sculpting hot plastic. The raw material is melted and dripped, free-form, into special molds. This technology makes it possible to produce items of every size, from palm-sized objects to enormous environmental sculptures, and whatever their size, each object has its own, unique texture that gives it a wild, organic feel.
The wine cup holders are produced from recycled plastic that has been free-molded, and they too can be fully recycled. Created by Yaron Elyasi in his studio, each holder is an original. They are numbered from 1 to 100 in various series, named for different cultivars of grapevines used in viniculture.
Yaron's next vision and goal is to establish a recycling center where our plastic trash will be transformed into beautiful, functional objects. Here the next generation will be educated for responsible consumerism, thus bequeathing to their children a world devoid of plastic trash.
