Before they planted even one vine in the winery's vineyards, Lenny Recanati and Uri Shaked had already planted their dream: To spread the word about quality wines to connoisseurs in Israel and abroad, and to make Recanati Winery a synonym for excellence in the international world of wine.

Lenny Recanati and Uri Shaked, who stand at the forefront of Israel's wine industry today, began their journey back in 2000, and it has gained momentum ever since. The vintners' team, in cooperation with the owners, share their vision and aspirations: To produce local, Israeli wine, which will express the region's particular terroir  like a unique fingerprint, identifiable only in the wines produced by Recanati.

The winery is proud to have has just received exceptionally high ratings from the world's most important wine critic, Robert Parker: seven wines with a score of 90 or above.
