Carmel Winery

The Carmel Wineries hark back to the very beginnings of the wine industry in Israel and represent its achievements over the course of the past hundred years and more. The first vineyards were planted in Zichron Ya'akov and Rishon Lezion in the 19th century. It was here that the secrets of winemaking in Israel were first discovered, and where professional knowledge and skills grew and deepened. Guests are welcomed at the hands-on Visitors' Centre at the Zichron Ya'akov winery where they can enjoy tours, workshops and wine tastings.
