Alona Winery was founded in 2001 in Givat Nili by doctors Ilana and Micha Rebau and by Fanny and Eli Azulay, second-generation grape growers for the wine industry. The current owners of the farm carry out their vision: To make the best wine possible from the grapes they themselves grow in the area, and to prove that it's not necessary to grow vineyards on high hills, but rather to take advantage of the microclimate in Emek Taninim -- with its winter cold spells and pleasant summer breezes, which flow down to the valleys and do good things for the grapes.
