A few years ago, Orit Rivlin stepped foot into a shop in London selling beautiful handmade woven goods -- and it changed her life. With the decline of Israel's weaving industry, Orit's passion for the craft has only grown, and she decided to open her looms in Zichron Ya'akov and run workshops for the public. Though she works there in a variety of styles, using yarns and threads, embroidery and stitching techniques, her greatest love is weaving.
Today, as her fingers move across her looms, her goal is to revive the culture of weaving in Israel. Come meet Orit and see her marvelous creations at the Festival. It may change your life, too.
